VF03- Smartform output type issue

Hi All.

Custom output type is always Incorrectly processed (RED) in VF03 (Only for specific custom output type) and the process log have a warning message as "Address texts do not exist". Unable to give print smartforms from VF03

Could you please help to resolve this issue.

Hello JNJ,

You have the solution in the error message: create the address text used in the smartform.

What do you think it could be? Which investigation did you do before asking here?

Hi Simone.

Thanks for your reply. Actually Address text is a warning message and got to know by debugging that is not the reason for RED.

I have tried with new invoice and created output type but another error got as "Text XXXXXXX000010 ID 0001 language EN not found"

I have no header text at invoice and i have checked already condition in form to display READ_TEXT.In smartform that READ_TEXT node is not getting called in debug mode since no header text .

I am not sure how could this message getting triggered. Could you please assist me.

Check your Smartform and where there is a text, just flag "ignore when not found" to avoid such kind of errors

Hi Simone.

Already am getting flag from driven program if header text is maintained in transaction and checking flag in TEXT node's output condition. I have checked in debugging mode .No header test so READ_TEXT was not called.

As mentioned by Simone you need to check all text node in Smartforms and we have a checkbox ignore if not found in the node itself, you need to check that. Even if you are passing the flag their might be other place where you are calling text which is not created. So better check the checkbox for text node.

nagaraj.j honestly, i do not understand what are you doing with the READ_TEXT FM.

Check your smartform text node and set the flag: READ_TEXT works with the sy-langu by default but the language used in the Smartform is the output one that can be different from sy-langu.

As reading through all these comments it look like your not an developer for forms.

So please go to a developer which some experience in forms and show them the comments here. Pretty sure he/she can give you a hand and solve the issue.
