We have an implementation of a BADI that kicks in before the save. I need an easy way to determine what fields within the Contact Person have been changed. I'm currenlty using FM 'BUP_BUPA_MEMORY_GET_ALL' to get the BUS001 data from memory, but I still don't know what data, if any, has been changed. It would seem that the only way of finding this out is to look at the data held in the tables and compare with the data returned from the above FM. If there are differences between then that field has been changed. This method is not ideal and just can't believe that there's not a better method. Does anyone know a better one?.

Gary King

sy-datar on informs me that a change has been made (as far as I know) and I assume that the user would not have Saved unless they made changes, so I don't think this field is going to be of any help.

Detecting the changes should be no problem, but of course I would need to read the stored data first, and then compare it against the screen data to detect the changes. What I'm trying to do is find an alternative way of reading the stored data on the table as the screen processing (PAI ) obviously knew the content of screen before the data was changed. Whether I can get at these details while in a BADI I don't know though.

Gary
