Tell me the process to enhance infotypes?

Hi vishal,

goto se11->specify the infotype that u want,

eg:pa0000 - actions,

pa0001,pa0002............

all starts with pa are transparent tables,starts with ps are structures

the process to enhance infotypes are...

from SE11 u need to specify the required infotype and go in the change mode and u can enhance the infotypes.

Here the infotypes are of 2 types....those with PAxxxxx are Transparent tables while PSxxxxx are Structures.

hi Vishal,

To enhance an infotype,

1. PD infotype

STEP1:Goto PPCI->click on EXTEND button, the third button on the application toolbar.

Give the infotype number, it will take you to a screen, where you can select the include, which takes to SE11; include the customer fields there and activate.

STEP2: go back to PPCI, now select the radiobutton for subscreen (screen number 200), it will take you to screen painter, where you put the field which you created in the include

STEP3: similary, enhance the module-pool, which will take you to ABAP Editor, where you put in the extra logic you need to put in.

2. PA Infotype

Goto PM01 and and select the tabs with spiral icon (enhance structure, enhance screen, etc..) and follow the processes as mentioned above.
