Automatic start of batch input session

Hello @ll,

in a report I create a batch input session with the forms of the inlcude bdcrecx1 which than will be visible in transaction SM35.

Is there any possibility to start the processing of the batch input session after creating? I mean to start the processing in the program not in transaction SM35!

Yes after creating the session call the report RSBDCSUB to run the session:

SUBMIT RSBDCSUB WITH MAPPE = <SESSION NAME>

WITH VON = SY-DATUM

WITH BIS = SY-DATUM

WITH FEHLER = ' '

EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY

AND RETURN.

Hi Chris

As Max specified, within your program after calling CLOSE_SESSION. Use the below code provided by Max.

SUBMIT RSBDCSUB WITH MAPPE = <b><SESSION NAME></b>

WITH VON = SY-DATUM

WITH BIS = SY-DATUM

WITH FEHLER = ' '

EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY

AND RETURN.

<SESSION NAME> <-- is the session name that you have created and visible in SM35.

Submitting the program RSBDCSUB with the session name will execute the session specified.

In the BDC program that u created for the session creation.

after creating the sessoin SUBMIT the RSTBDCSUB program.
