Search help (specific)

Hello,

I have a problem when creating a specific matchcode based on a view. The view had been created is in reference with a specific table and a standard table containing the description field of the specific table field.

In the matchcode I only want the descrition text in the connection language. How can I proceed to resolve my problem : today I have a line for each line in the standard table ( 4 languages ).

Hi,

you need a search-help with the filed language. SE11: eg. elemtary search help for the material and description MAT1M. Here you can see how to use the language.

If you want to combine search helps: see collective search help MAT1.

If necessary you can change the selection by using a 'serch helpexit ' in your own

SH or to filter out the not needed text lines.

Are you using standard views or custom views. If you are using custom views, you could check for SPRAS = SY-LANGU in your selection condition while defining the view.
