Problem with search help

Hi Experts,

I have a problem with the search help as I want to remove the Elementary srch hlp from my program because I don't want anymore calling by using F4 any data.

Pls any advice to solve it ?

The link works for me and it doesn't require any login. There is a pop-up about the cookies but after that the link opens just fine. I'm using FF browser.

It's not clear though what the problem is exactly. It says "I want to move the Elementary srch hlp from my program" but move where?

sorry the problem was with my internet explorer the link works with google chrome but not with mozilla firefox.

the issue is the i do not whant more to use the Elementary srch hlp in my program ,

as once I click f4 the Elementary srch hlp calls wrong data which I don't want to call any more above screenshot describes the specific field which linked with the Elementary.

Then what is the problem with removing the search help functionality from the field? Sorry, I still don't understand what is the technical challenge here...

Sorry I dont really understand what do you want but is it not working when you remove that search help from the table that hold that field? (i suppose this is Ztable, if it is standard table I think search help is not the problem, you should check functional logic which could update wrong data).

If your field using standard data element, it also use the standard search help which used by that element too, so maybe you should consider to create a z element instead.

I will try to explain this with other words, so the in the screenshot when I click F4 on the field I will receive the many options to select one of them, nowwwww i don't want this anymore and want to move this help functionality?

when I go to the search help with tcode se11 I don't find my field as a parameter in the search help so how I can move it from my program???

Is it a custom program? if so what is the field outlet-name referring to? <str>-<fieldname>? You need to check that referred field to understand where the values are coming from

Problem with semantics: what means "move" for you? Please explain in details what you want to achieve. Up to now, I understood that either you wanted to get rid of the popup, or to filter out some of the lines inside the popup. Maybe you mean something else...

I'm also lost on what does "move" mean here? From the previous comments, it seemed that you meant "remove" rather than "move" but now I'm just more confused.

The screenshot doesn't tell us much, unfortunately. I'm not sure how exactly it relates to the question. If you could post "as is" picture and "to be" picture then maybe it'll be more clear.

' move' means easily that when I click F4 do data will be received

the screenshot shows what I am receiving once I am clicking F4 and I want no more data to be called once I click F4.

Okay so you want to disable the F4 for that screen field, i.e. detach the search help from the field.

There are several places where it may be attached, you have to search it through the hierarchy given by Horst. It will impact all screens.

If you want to disable it only for this screen field, then the easiest way is to uncheck the "DDIC" checkbox of this field in the dynpro HDLABL_MGMT 0200 (and activate it of course).

So you want F4 to do nothing? Then we're back where we were - just remove the F4 functionality. What is the specific challenge? What are you trying to do (programming-wise) and what exactly is not working or you are not finding?

We can't know what exactly triggers F4 in this case. If it's the code then remove the code. If it's through dictionary data element then use a different type. Both scenarios are not challenging in any way, so I remain to be confused what is the problem...
