Hi,

PAS is Pluggable Authentication Service.

I think the below process will help you.

The user enters the URL for the PAS Service

The user provides the authentication info.

The external authentication mechanism verifies user's info

The ticket issuing system maps the external userid to SAP user id

The user is then issued a logon ticket

The Agate redirects the user to intailly desired saervice.

Reg the installation:

Install PAS ModuleSet the service file parameteer

Maintain the user mapping(Tab USERXTID)

Pls avoid points if it's usefull..
