Problem in ALV Grid layout.

Hi all,

I have got a problem with the output diplay in the ALV Grid Display,

I have made the field 'Unit of Measurement' as editable and after the first change i have made in that field from the output diplay it is showing me stars(***) in that particular field at the output.

My internal table which i have populated for the grid layout is being populated well and contains the data which is not displayed in the output in that particular field.

What should i do to prevent the stars at my output display ????

you can try increasing the output length of that field.

change the datatype and length in the fieldcataloag and check out

wa_fieldcat-datatype = 'CHAR'.
wa_fieldcat-outputlen = '10'.
