Hi,

Thanks for your help. The issue was resolved.

When I went to SPAD and checked for the Output device, that output device was not active. And hence the formatting of the layout set was not working during the print. When I tested with some other output device which was active the problem was solved.

Problem in SAP Script Output:

When I use Bold format and Paragraph format in SAPScript layout set, it shows t correctly in the Utilities->Test print output layout. But the problem comes when I execute the report from VF02 transaction using the required output type. After the execution of the report, the formatting what was defined in the Layout Set by me does not reflect in the Output although the script is activated. What could be the Problem, please help.

Thanks in advance.

A SAP-script is client dependent. May be you have to transport it to the client in which you are using it.

hi ,

Dont judge the output of the layout based on test print it just shows u the schema of the windows alignment .

The problem u r referring to is the improper alignment of the text fields and the values i suppose.

this might be due to usage of space between two text fields .

try using the tabs in the paragraph format and check for one giving o/p to a printer.

and check the print preview with the hard copy .

regards,

vijay

Hi,

Yes I know about the Test print layout stuff. I have used proper tabs as well and have also checked by giving the o/p to printer and seeing the print preview. I have tried everything but could not find out what the problem was. It still exists. Any more suggestions please help.

just one more check .. see whether the fonts u r using in BOLD FORMAT and Paragraph format are being supported by the printer and the font family in SPAD for ur page format .

cause in some cases page format may not pick the fonts if it is not configured .

regards,

vijay
