Hi Experts,

I need to upload the scanning information (Asset & Barcode) into SAP. Is it possible directly to read from the scanner or first they need to copy into a flat file then I can use it. How can I do this? Can any one suggest me? If there is a possibility to read directly, how can I do this? Please send me code, it will be appreciate.

Thanks & Regards

Rahendra

Hi,

No coding is required for that. The barcode scanner is attached to the keyboard slot. When you scan the barcode, the scanner will feed in the text stream into the system. So where ever you have the cursor. It will just be filled. It can be into notepad, wordpad, address bar, or anywhere, thats how it is copied into a flatfile.

hope it answers your question.

reward if helpful.

Regards,

pankaj singh.

We cont connect the scanner to the system & scan the barcode. First we scan all the assets without connecting to the system then I want to use that information. Is it possible to store that total information directly to a flat file?

Thanks & Regards

Rajendra
