Search Help Issue

Dear All,

I have three text fields in one of my screens.

1. Transporter

2. TruckType and

3. Destination

I have provided search help for Transporter field and I display all the above three fields in the search help LOV.

My requirement is that on selection of any entry from the search help, the other two fields on the screen i.e. Truck Type & Destination should also get populated from the relative fields of the selected entry.

Hi,

After selecting the search help...

u will have the Transporter - data in the Transporter - select-option.

So get the Truck type and Destination from the database for that Transporter

and populate the select-options fileds for the truck type and Destination.

Try with this... and let me know...

Hi,

Once transporter field is filled your AT-SELECTION SCREEN ON transporter, will be trigerred so based on transporter value select remaining data & populate it.

when you will get the transporter then in pai select data from dbtab to your screen fields.

after getting the value in transporter and press enter it will automatically populate the values in the rest of two fields

Hi Alok,

While creating the search help for multiple values, u need to select Collective Search Help type and u assign those fields for which you want to have the search help in LOV.

Note: this LOV shud be Collective Search help type

Let me redefine my problem. It's regarding how to 'Export' more than one field value using the F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST function.

Hi Alok ,

The FM has a table <b>RETURN_TAB</b> , which contains the value of the record selected from the search help.

Get the value from this table , read your search help table and get the value of the second field and once this is done , populate your second field.

Do revert back in case of queries
