Hi ALL

I am using two tables AD01DLI and AD01DLIEF , i want to set indexes on field DLINR, does any body knoz how to do that, so that the performace is increased

There is option called secondary index.

check whether it has secondary index or not?

if not then create secondary index by clicking that.

but make sure user agrees for that.

Hi,

Create a secondary index for the required field.

Go to Se11, give the table name click on display.

You have a push botton "INDEXes' on application bar.

click on the button.

It will display the active indexes.

you have a create button as well. Click on it and give the desired field name. Activate it.

A sceondary index will be created for it. Do the same for other table also.

it already have an indes on objnr, shall i modify the same one or shall i create a new one

Create a New one for your desired field.

i tried putting the indewx with name B, but its give the warning as

Index AD01DLI~B doesnot exists in database system ORACLE

pls guide

Hi,

Go to SE11 --> Give the table name as AD01DLI --> Go to change mode

Click on Right corner side 'INDEXS' -->Give index name --> and specify index fields

Another table also same only.

Give the Index name as Z** .
