LSMW - Standard Batch / Direct Input method

Hi,

I am using LSMW RFBISA00 to load GL Account Master Data when I get to 13 step "Create Batch Input Session" after executing I am getting a message:

" First Record in file FICO_FI_GLMASTER.lsmw.conv is not a session record (Type 0)"

After that no batch input session record is not getting created

what I have to do for GL upload?

plz guys ,do look into the above issue..immediate response is appreciated.

Hi,

Go to step 7 - 'Specify files' in change mode

Double click on specified file --> check the checkbox of 'field names at start of file' in file Structure tab.

The main of this error is the file data, You are specified the fields as a first record and forgot to check the checkbix in file structure tab.

Another solution is remove field name in file as a first record.

hi,

session is generated for direct input sessoin

u have to create a variant for the pgm,,

after that u have to create a job and run it...

when we are uploading data for material master..

in the 13th step it used to ask to select either rmdatind or bmvo

we selected the bmvo..

after that we create a job in which we mentioned variant name,

username,pgm name..

so u try the same procedure .. i think in the 13th step u must click on some other option...
