Hi to all....!!!!!!!

I'm having some problems with transaction SM30. i have a table called Zmm014_Cost that has an update view. until some days ago it worked OK in SM30. But now a DUMP appears.

The Dump says:

Txt.brv.

A conversion error occurred.

¿what had happened?

The current screen processing was terminated, since a situation
occurred from which it could not continue processing.
This is probably due to an error in the current screen of the ABAP
program.
to screen 0003. This error made it impossible to finish execution of the
remainder of the program.

Errors

The program flow was interrupted and could not be resumed.

Program "SAPLZMM014A_GF_TABLA" tried to display fields on screen 0003. However,

      an

error occurred while this data was being converted.

Any suggestions??????

I am really disturbed because for a long time I have not been touching anything related to that table

as usual rewarded points for help..

thanks in advance.

null

the thing is someone might have added new fields or else have changed the field length of one field or many fields....So, when u cahnge the field length, the data which already exists can't get adjusted to new field length due to which dump occurs....

U need to download data from SE16 if possible...create a new table maintenance or adjudt the table and then check in SM30...May be u have to upload data freshly also in some cases.

This is because there exists a data which is not compatible with the table.

like for example, if you have a domain which does not allow negative sign but it got updated from program with negative sign...then this error will be raised.

See the entries from se16 and delete them in debug mode..then you can get rid of this problem..(time being and find the real problem)

Thank you to Both!!!!

i had a corrupt row...at first it seemed not to have problems but somehow it was the cause of the Dump. I erased it and everything worked again.

regards...

null
