Custom Transaction Problem?

Hi, in 640 I have a transaction that calls a ABAP Report and this report has no parameters. Just a report. The transaction is configured to screen 1000 and it works fine even though there really is no dialog screen 1000.

However, in 700 it's balking with error that screen 1000 doesn't exist. How do I configure a transaction to call an ABAP report with no selection screen? The screen field is required..

1. If there is no selection screen for a report, then there should NOT be a screen 100.

2. If there are no parameters for a report, you should be just doing

SUBMIT REPORT report_name.

Hello,

is the report transported from 640 to 700 ?

in that case such error should not occur.

But if you have created manually or uploaded program in 700 client & created transaction there,then just check in SE93 the transction creation whether you hv used proper settings or no.

u need to write submit program name in ur transaction.....

Hi,

Did u create that Tcode with reference to PROGRAM AND SELECTION SCREEN(REPORT TRANSACTION), it will take default screen 1000.

Check and correct it.
