Hi All,

I am creating a background job using JOB_OPEN , SUBMIT and JOB_CLOSE.

Is there any way to set default user BACKGROUND as creater of the job??

YOu can use BP_JOB CREATE instead of JOB_OPEN and pass AUTHCKNAM field of the exporting parameter JOB_CR_HEAD_INP

Hello Harkamal

By using FM: JOB_SUBMIT to add the steps, we can default the user name.

The same field(AUTHCKNAM) as Ravi has mentioned in his post.

Anyhow, all these FM's exist in the same Function group: <b>BTCH</b>
