Updating table EIPO

Hi,

does anyone know any function module or BADI to update a field in the table

EIPO, for example EIPO-GRWRT? Just want to know if there is an FM before

updating the table directly with Open SQL.

Not sure if there is a FM or not. But I suggest you write a FM on your own if you dont find one and then call the same in your program. If you update the table directly from your program you will end up with problems of table locking later.

Hi Suman,

Thanks for the response. User exits do not help for my case. I have some selection

screen from where I collect data that can be used as selection criteria. The updating

operation is not triggered automatically, but by user.

I think I have to do like that. But I wanted to know if there is someone who knows

some already existing solution for this problem.
