alternative to SUBMIT

Hi All,

using abap objects,in my o/p,i have a tree to the left,when i click the node,

it is displaying selection-screen on the next page,

i used SUBMIT----

via selection-screen to call the selection-screen of an include,

but i want the selection-screen to be displayed to the right on the same screen to the right.

Please help me to solve my issue.

Why dont you assign the Selection Screen and the Report to a Transaction

using SE93 and

then use

CALL TRANSACTION statement.

Hi dominic,

but even if i use Call Transaction stmt,

i will get the selection-screen in the next page but not in the same page,am i correct.

if not can u explain more clearly how to do

Sowjanya,

i think it is not possible , since your case deals with other program.

if you can creat the same in your program then it is possible.

since submit and call transaction will take you to the new screen.

Hi,

You will not be able to call the selection screen as one half of your alv

You will need the whole screen

I tried using the following statement

CALL SUBSCREEN sb_area INCLUDING program name

(screen number). giving 1000 for selection screen.

But i got the following error

The screen must be an 'Include ' Screen.

So it is not possible. If you see SE80 also has the same functionality and there also it is being called as a Full Screen.

Hope I was able to shed some light on the issue

thanks for ur continous help.

is there any way to call pbo of screen 100 in pbo of screen 200

what i mean is , that tree shud be displayed at the left fixed without disappearing,when selection screen is displayed.

What you need to do is in the Layout Mode Define the part in which you need to define the other part of the screen as a sub screen area for eg sb_area.- there is an option in the buttons at the left

Then in the PBO of Screen 200

use the following syntax

CALL SUBSCREEN sb_area INCLUDING sy-repid

'100'.

This will call the PBO of Screen 100 in the PBO of 200 in the second half of the screen.

Hope this helps

Note: The Screen 100 must also be defined in your program and should not be a selection screen.
