Regarding ALV Execution

Hi Gurus

I am facing problem while Executing the Report.

That is After displaying the selection screen and by making entries it is giving the correct list.

But when I press the Back button or Esc button in the list level insted of showing the Selection Screen it is showing the Empty screen and after that when I press again Back or Esc button, it is showing Selection Screen.

Please suggest me the Solution.

Hi ,

Try debugging the program when you press the back key and see the code that gets executed .

And yes are you using a cutome menu in your program , if yes please check what is the value assigned to the back button.

If you are not able to find any thing please paste your code here , which will help us find the exacut issue.

Hello Sree,

If u r using the OO Objects, then you should write the fuctinality of the BACK key in the PAI of the screen.

If u r using FM then the funtion codes will be taken care automatically by the system.

check whether u used any unwanted write statements, because sometime it may happen due to that....

where did you write the select query? before start-of-selection or after start-of-selection.check it

Make Sure you are not calling the ALV screen in a loop.And always use

<b>leave to screen 0</b> while handling the back button.
