Objects authorizations

Dear Gurus,

We have two transactions with the same objects authorizations CJV1 and CJ20N, We would like that some users had authorization activity “to create” in the Tscode CJV1 and in the CJ20N only “modify”. But when We tried to do this the user has authorization “to create” in the transaction CJV1 and CJ20N.

The Enhancement CNEX0002 add to the authorization check in the Project System. Anybody already used this Enhancement?

Exist other solution?

Hi Elza

The implementation of the user exit sounds like a good idea here - as an alternative you could create a transaction variant for CJ20N, where you "hide" the possibility to create. You can find a small how-to guide <a href="http://www.mortenhjorthnielsen.dk/Security/transactionvariants.htm">here</a>
