Hi,

Downloading and uploading is fine, but there are lot of things that are to be taken into consideration as the number range has to be perfect as the same number will be used to replicate the workflow in the new system.

The file downloaded is an XML file, if you want to upload into another system then you could try not sure if it will work, to allot the Tasks and the worfklow the number range currently in use in your system,( like modifying your XML file with some XML editor ) , if you number range perfectly matches, then it should get uploaded properly), before this also check the Business Object underlying is there any changes and any new methods implemented there. ( check that the business object is the same first ).

To download the worfklow use the following path

1. SWDD transcation

2. Menu bar Worfklow -> Import/Export -> Export to XML file .

The same way you can import the file.

Regards-

Kunal
