SOST - No entry in Queue yet

Hi All,

I am facing problem in sending email(external send) through VA02 transaction.

Sales Document - > Issue Output to but it does not send email, the mail request is created with status "No entry in queue yet" so to send that I have to Repeat Send through transaction SOST.

I checked the SAPCONNET(RSCONN01) program schedule it is schedule in every 10 minutes.

Extras-> Outputs-> Header->Edit

I observed one more thing that when I run it with dispatch time 4-"Send immediately(When saving the application)" then it is sucessfully sends the mail, but when dispatch time is 3-"Send with applications own transaction" then it goes into status "No entry in queue yet"

Can anyone tell me what could be the problem in it.

Hi,

If you have the dispatch time as as 3 "Send with applications own transaction" then you have to manually goto VA03...Sales document -> Issue output to -> Then select the output type and then print it..

but if it is 4 Send immediately..Then the output will be triggered immediately after saving the order..

I am strugguling with status in SOST which is stating that "No entry in queue yet", after executing the output through VA02

Hi,

Check the flag PRINT IMMEDIATELY in the output ..

In va02 ..Extras -> output -> header -> edit..

Select the output type ..

Then press "communication method" button..in that screen there is check box for "Print immediately"..

Check that box...

Then try to issue the output..

Hi Naredran,

That is the main problem when we check dispatch time to 4, it sends email while saving sales order.

User wants to send email, without changing dispatch time.

you want the user to issue the output manually right??Which means 3 (Send with application own transaction)...

In previous reply I am not asking you to change the dispatch time to 4..Let it be 3 only..

As mentioned in my previous reply..If you press the communication method button..There you will find a check box "Print immediately" which is above the check box "Release after output"...If you check the "print immediately" check box it will not be sent immediately as dipatch time to 4..

The print immediately option is to sent immediately to the printer or wait in the spool...

Please try this..

Hi,

So..You set the "Print immediately" flag to on..Then had the dispatch time as 3..

Then when you do

VA02 -> ISSUE OUTPUT TO -> SELECT THE OUTPUT TYPE -> Then press the print button..

It is not showing in SCOT (In the waiting column)..

Is that correct??

Yes it is not being shown in waiting column..

Narendran, do you have any solution on this ? As you got my problem very clearly, I think you have faced same problem and got rid of it.
