Business Objects and BAPIu00B4s

Hi All!

I would like to know if is possible to create a BAPI based in a Business Object, because almost all Business Objects has a corresponding BAPI when we look in SE37, but the Business Object BUS2011 doesn´t have one. And if this is possible, can anyone gives me an example?

Hi,

The way business objects in SAP are designed is that the underlying implementation of the method of the object is nothing but a RFC. And together its called as Business API.

Similary, BUS2011 also should have the underlying functions.

Hi Eder,

You can create a new business object by inheriting the BUS2011 and create a new BAPI. Go to transaction swo1 and create it. From the menu you can create the methods and attach the BAPI to this method of the business object.

Yes, you simply will have to find the underlying the function module and call that in your ABAP program.
