Your rule is good to use, but this may not always be the case. You can see what tables are hit by a transaction by using the SQL Trace ST05 and running the transaction, this will tell you exactly which tables are used.

Regards,

Rich Heilman

There is no easy way to remember as different requirements have different tables

Check out this link though

https://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=343777&messageID=2515238

Hi!

Mostly these names comes from the german shortings, for example:

VBAK, VBAP - Verkauf Beleg Kopf, Position

LFA1 - Liferant 1

LFB1 - Lieferant / Buchungkreis 1

And so on...

If you would like to identify them easily, you have to learn the relevant german words.

Or you have to writh the found table names to your own excel table

Regards

Tamá

Hi Sudhir,

Do not be anxious about remembering table name.

With time & experience, you learn the main ones...

Moreover, you can use F1 ( technical info ) or launch SQL trace to track the used tables....

Erwan

Hi Sudheer,

Your way of remembering is good.

But by experience and by working with reports and bdc's u will remember automatically. So u need to work with tables as much as possible, this is the only and better way to remember all the tables, so that u also come to know the common fields and related transactions and etc..

So, start working more with the different tables..

Regards,

Kumar
