Hello,

In general you can filter the sending of IDOCS by

1. Create a Filter Object type (tcode BD95)

    - here you create a definition that says what table-field you want to filter on.

    - in your case probably an effective date.

2. Assign Filter Object to IDOC field

    - hear you assigg the object from 1. to the IDOC field that you want to filter on,

3. In your distribution model add the filter object to the message type and assign

    a filter value ( sy-datum perhaps)

I am not sure that this works for your specific requirement.

Hi All,

Does someone know how to pospone certain IDOCs/change-pointers being sent. We are trying to distribute SAP HR data to SAP eRecruitment. Problem is that even HR changes in the future create changes in eRecruitment now.

Thanks in advance,

Jeschael

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the answer. I haven't tested it yet, but wouldn't this solution cause the IDOCs never to be sent? I do need them to be sent ones their date becomes valid one the current day.

Jeschael

I think I also have to filter/defer per infotype. So the infotypes I send are always valid on the day I send them. Thus a filter on changepointers seems best.

Jeschael

Message was edited by:

        J.V.
