what is the deffirence between the function moudles REUSE_ALV LISTDISPLAY,

REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY,

hi rajesh

ALV's r basically to view the output list in a more fashionable way when compared to a normal report output.and in ALV's we have two ways to display the list as u said list nd grid

presentation wise the main difference between these two is grid will be in the form of blocks in the sense the column headings will be highlighted and will b in a more presentable way.

and technical wise u can c the main diff the moment u c the function module export parameters .go through the documentation for each nd evry parameter .v can say grid is more easier to use as the number of functionalities r more here

Hi,

Main difference is that GRID creates a screen with a GRID control and LIST creates a classical ABAP List. On a classical List all predefined standard lisr operations (select, search, copy, download, print,...) are available.

In GRID only functions defined with function module are avalable. I.E. using print function means to convert the grid's contents into a list - a a creen is not printable except hardcopy.
