Excel upload error

Hi Gurus,

Many users are facing issue while uploading Excel and few other users are able to upload it without issue. We tried using the same file to upload but still few users are unable to upload the file. Had anyone faced this situation earlier? We are unable to find what is causing the issue. Please help.

"Upload error", "Facing issue". What does that mean? Did their computer blow up? Was it a "Computer says No" message?

How should anyone have any idea about your problem with the information you provide?

Sorry my question was not enough informative. We do get a message saying "Error in reading excel file!". I'm also a user facing this issue and I'm not the developer.

As a non-developer it's unlikely you'll be able to give us the information we need to help you, and even if you were, would you understand the answer, or, even more importantly, be able to do anything with it.

Is your IT department not dealing with this issue?

Well at least you gave the version details in your question, which many people don't.

Get an error message from what? How are you uploading, to where? Portal, Fiori, SAPGUI, Web Dynpro...?

If some users have a problem and others don't with exactly the same file, then the issue is probably local - either with the local security or maybe SAP authorisations.
