What is SAP SCRIPT and layout set?

I am a fresher and want to know the following questions? Plz help me HOW TO GIVE POINTS....!

1) What are 'RANGES ?

2) what are SELECT-OPTIONS ?

3) What are the exceptions in FUNCTION MODULES ?

4) What are the fields in BDC_TAB field ?

5) What is Table Maintenance Generator ?

6) What is DRILL_DOWN report?

7) Are the programs client independent?

1) What are 'RANGES ?

It's the statament to define a range of value to be used in the WHERE conditions:

SELECT * FROM <TABLE> WHERE FIELD IN <RANGE>....

It's structurated by these fields:

SIGN: value I (internal) and E (external)

OPTIONS: value EQ (equal), BT (beetween), GT (greater) ......

LOW: lower value

HIGH: Higher value

It defines a range:

RANGES: MY_RANGES FOR T001-BUKRS.

2) what are SELECT-OPTIONS ?

It's like a RANGES, but defined in the selection-screen

3) What are the exceptions in FUNCTION MODULES ?

They are the events can be raised if an error occurs, the value of the exception is stored in the system variable SY-SUBRC.

So if it know the value of SY-SUBRC, it can know the error

4) What are the fields in BDC_TAB field ?

PROGRAM The progran name

DYNPR The screen number

DYNBEGIN If the screen is called

FNAM Input/output field name

FVAL Input/output field value

5) What is Table Maintenance Generator ?

It's a tool to generate a program to maintenance a table: insert, update and delete the hits of a table.

It can run it by trx SE54, or directly by SE11

6) What is DRILL_DOWN report?

It's the functionality to selecet a value in a list or in a screen and show something about it

7) Are the programs client independent?

Yes it is.

It's tool to create a manage the print of a document.

9) What are the ABAP commands linked to the LAYOUT SET?

Every command to manage the format (chararcters and paragraph) of abap list.

10) What are MATCH CODES?

It's the object to list all the possible value can be choosen

11) How do we debug SAP_SCRIPT?

Trx SE71 Utilities->Active debbuger

Then run the print

Sap script: Sap Script is a Tool to create Lay out set.........!! script is used to print the company Documents like inovice and purchase order etc....!!

where as

Layout set: used to design the doceuments ...............!!!
