ALV layout display

Hii All,

In the ALV output, in Change layout option, there is a checkox called strip pattern and display with time and date. I need to default these checkboxes. For strip pattern output, I am using ZEBRA and I am able to see the output. Whereas what is the field for displaying the date and time by default?

Second thing is that, I am not able to generate the background spool list for this report. When executed in background, the job shows successful execution, but when I see spool status, it shows waiting and the spool has incomplete list. the bottom part of the spool list has all vertical lines... Any guesses what might be the problem? I am able to see the output when report ran in foreground.

Anyone has answers on how to correct this one?

The output list in background is not coming. It is all vertical lines, whereas i can see the output in foreground.please help

Hi,

Only the stripped lines will display.

You can use TOP-OF-PAGE in the function module and write a dynamic form and call REUSE_alv_commentary_write and pass the sy-datum & sy-uzeit .

It will display in header.

While creating the spool check the fieldcat created with output text & lengths.

and also check the printer settings while executing in background.

Try to schedule the job in background in SM36.
