hi,

what is diff between following salesdoctypes and how to know which salesdoctype in need to use , is there any documentation for this

AA Promotion Order
AT Ret.Packaging Pickup	
B1 Rebate Cred Memo Req
B2 REbate Correctn Rqst

OR Standard Order

Hi,

Every Document which correponds to sales are created/copied from these sales Document types.

In any Business Scenario, There will be different kinds of sales processes. According to the Process, The required Document type will be copied into Z*** and the customizations will be done.

I hope there might not be any difference between OR / ZTA . THe only thing is OR is copied as ZTA.

you can check the customizations in SPRO -> Sales -> sales doc.Header -> Sales Doc. Types.

Hi Guruvulu

Most of the settings will be provided by SAP.

In the cases where by the standard settings are not suitable for our business requirement, we go for customizing by copying the standard object and change as per the requirements.

Also there will be multiple objects to handle various scenarios of business requirements.
