topic Alternative formula for condition base value, for value scale condition in Application Development and Automation Discussions

Dear reader,

I have included a custom made condition in a purchasing calculation schema, this condition is assigned to a custom made formula for determining the base value, sadly all this is not working. What am I doing wrong.

The configuration details:

1. The condition is of the class “discount of surcharge” and of the calculation type “percentage”. The condition has a scale basis based on value.

2. The formula for the base value is returning a value in field xkwert that should be used for selecting the correct value scale for the condition.

The problem:

1. The condition is not determined. Note that if I delete the routine for the base value out of the purchasing calculation schema a value for the condition is determined – although in this instance the base value is wrong, seems this to prove that the configuration of the condition is correct.

2. I got lost in debugging, but can it be that the system expects that the routine returns more then just a value for xkwert? And if so, which fields are of relevance (xkomv...)?

I am looking forward to a positive reaction,

Alwin

Hi Alwin

Can you the value of SY-SUBRC when you the control comes out of the routine.

Also, you can check do the following:

1. Click on the Analysis button below the condition in the condition tab.

2. Check the details corresponding to the condition type.

Maybe this can lead to some clues...

Kind Regards

Eswar
