Business Object Creation ?

Hi,

Can anybody let me know how I can create Z Business Object in R3?

Business Object is nothing but group of BAPI put together in a package.

Eg. BUS1002

BUS2012 etc.

Instead of answering your question I have a more general question in return:

<b>Why do people bother to create Customer Business Objects instead of creating simple and decent RFC-API?</b>

I assume you will need twice or three times more time to create a Business Object compared to a RFC-enabled function module having the very same functionality?

Where is the advantage for the customer or client? Same functionality requires twice or three times more money to be spent.

Perhaps there are reasons why one should favour creating Business Objects over RFC-APIs but I have not yet come across them.

Hi,

Goto tcode SWO1.

Type the name of BOR object u want to create.

It will pop up a small window in which u need to fill the details. like

1. Supertype:- U need to fill this with a statndard or already existing Z bor object, if u want to inherit from standard business object, else u can leave it blank.

Fill other details like

Object type,

Object name,

program name(this will create a program with that name, in which u will write the code for methods in BOR object)

etc.
