Trailing Zeros

Hi all,

I have a File which iam uploading it to a Excel sheet.While uploading to Excel sheet the Trailing Zeros are deleted in the Excel Sheet.

Ex: If the origional file contains total number of lines:4500. After uploading to Excel..

The Excel sheet contains total number of lines:45 only (Instead of 4500 it becoming 45 only).

I have print it as 4500.

What kind of changes i have to make in my program to over-come the problem?

just enter ur data in excel and then save it as 'text tab' file..and then upload this text tab file in ur program,it woll worj perfectly..

What data type is being passed for this Lines ?

Can u pass this field as Character Type and see the effect .

Hi Krish,

Just change the properties of excel sheets cell to text format so that the number with zeros will be shows as it is only.
