You can use the simplest FM to show a table in ALV Grid, that is HR_IT_SHOW_ANY_TABLE_ON_ALV.

Please, note that this FM doesn't set column headers but only fieldnames (In fact, if you have field LIFNR, in the output table you will not see column "Vendor" but column "LIFNR").

However, if you work on at least WAS 6.40, you can use class CL_SALV_TABLE.

The simplest way to call an ALV grid using this class is this, for example:

data: gt_outtab type table of <DATABASE_TABLE>. "Put here your structure

data: gr_table type ref to cl_salv_table.

*... Select data

  select * from <DATABASE_TABLE> into corresponding fields of table gt_outtab.

*... Create Instance

  call method cl_salv_table=>factory

    IMPORTING

      R_SALV_TABLE = gr_table

    changing

      t_table      = gt_outtab.

*... Display table

  gr_table->display( ).

And it's done.

Please reward if useful.

Roby
