LSMW Error

Hi,

I am trying to create a LSMW. I created that to upload customer master records. I have the data I need to upload in the tab delimited form. But when I am trying to execute the step 'Read Data' it gives me the following error.

For packed/hexadecimal fields, loading from the frontend is not allowed

Message no. /SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_060051.

Can any one help me on this please?

Hi Shailaja,

Check if u have Selected File types as-- Record End Indicator (Text File) & Code Page as ASCII while Specifying files.

Data for One Source Structure (Table)

Separator Tabulator

Field Names at Start of File

Field Order Matches Source Structure Definition

With Record End Indicator (Text File)

Code Page ASCII

Check if u have declared all ur source fields as Character types ( Type C').
