Copying VK13...............

Hi,

I would like to copy VK13 to ZVk13 and change the GUI status in the first screen. But when I tried copying thru std method it's not getting copied properly. So I'm trying to to do it manually by using copy paste method. When I copy in that fashion I'm able to copy the includes but pls tell me how to copy Screens , GUI status, GUI Title and Dialogue modules.........

Donot copy with copy and paste method ...

rather than that .. GOT0->STATUS... find for the Program name and then go to SE38 and press copy button ... this way u can do that ..

For VK13 the standard report name is SAPMV13A. Open this report in SE38 and on the first screen itself in menu PROGRM->COPY, click on it. There u need to specify target report name and click on copy, it will ask you what all things need to copy: Documentation, variants, user interface, screens, includes, select all and then all thsese things will be copied.

But this is not the way suggested. If you want to change the gui status, try to find out whether u can do it using user exit or not.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. I tried copying thru se38 but when I activate it's giving some errors. Even if I do activate anyway and craete a Trn attached to this prgm it's throwing errors. So I wanted to try copy paste method.

My requirement is only to remove the change in the menu for the first screen. I have no idea about user exits... Pls help

when you are copying from SE38 you need to specify ur target report name for each of the include and then you have to activate each one of them. Then there should not be any problem in activating the main program.

Below is the code to find out all the exits for particular transaction. It will display all the user exits associated with tcode and you need to find which user exit will serve ur purpose of changinng the screen status.
