drop down in table

Hi,

I have created one dropdown to a field.

But in display the dropdown is displaying only short text of possible entries and not the Fix. values.

These fixed value I have mentained at domain level.

So how to display the fixd value and not the text?

Hi,

But when you select any short text the corresponding fixed value will be stored in the filed not the short text. some times fixed values dont make sense to show so we show the short text but we get the fixed value which we need.

I think if you remove the shor texts you will get the real values.

hi,

you should press ALT+F12 in an SAP screen .in the options go to Experts tab then select the option show keys in drop down and sort keys.

this will help

Hi,

In se38 ,change mode of the program..

<b>Take Customizing of Local Layout (or Alt+F12) int the standard tool bar...then take OPTIONS,then take EXPERT option..in that tick the options given.</b>

Hi All,

Thanx for the reply.

But for one value I have defined :

In fixed value i have kept as ' ' space.

And in short text as 'Blank'

But in table control if the value doesn't contain anything then it is showing 'Blank' in the table field but the requirement is that it should show space only.

Can we manipulate this through progr.?

HI,

I don't thnk u can display the fixed value...So what i sugget is that display the short text only and instead of blank write space.Any way as it is space thre will be no value for the field.....

But any way it will show 'Space' the text which we have written in the text value.

I want it should not display anything just blank value.
