Sure. I'll try to give you step by step.

First of all, automatic packing only works after some configuration exists and that master data for packing proposal has been maintained. it looks like it is not the case for you so just forget it for now.

To pack manually process the following:

1 - Go in VL02n;

2 - One in, go to Packing;

3 - You will be in the screen Processing Handling Units for DElivery....

4 - There will be many tabs. Assuming you are on tab PACK ARTICLE. The screen has 2 parts. The top is related to the Hus available for packing and the other Lists the articles to be packed;

5 - To create an HU right there, enter the packaging material (Ex: BOX) in the field PACKAGING MATERIAL in the top part. Once you click enter and you use a valid packaging material (sorry, cant help you here since it is master data set up in your system), you will get a HU number,

6 - YOu are almost there. Select the HU on the top part and then select the items and quantities you want to pack in the bottom part. With all them selected, click on PACK BUTTON (between the 2 screen parts);

7 - Save your delivery

That should be it.

Let me know if it doesn't work.

Leonardo De Araujo

Have you tried to create a new handling unit and use it there?

It looks like you are using HUs already assigned to other documents.

Try this:

Go in packing;

in the Handling unit screen, enter only the packaging material you want to use (SAP will create a HU for you).

Then use it, assign the items of your delivery to it.

It should do it.

Good luck,

Leonardo De Araujo
