Problems with WBS elements

Hello all,

I am working with WBS elements and I am having problems with their short description (ShortID WBSelement, field PosKI). In table PRPS if I look for the WBSelement with short description IF/D0310-3-02-01, I can check that the value of the field POSKI is the same one, but the WBSelement with short descrpition IF/X0400-1 the value of the field POSKI is A001. Why??

So does anybody know how if there is a function that giving the short ID of a WBS element gets the PSPNR field of that element?

Hi Reyes

In PRPS there are three fields.

PRPS-PSPNR -> corresponds to the WBS element

PRPS-POST1 -> corresponds to the short description

PRPS-POSKI -> corresponds to the Short ID key.

The POSKI and POST1 are not key fields so there might be many WBS elements with the same short description & short ID key.

Please let me know where the problem lies exactly.
