I am working with hr report in that i am getting a date format mm/dd/yyyy in the development and it is working fine but when i move the program to quality ,the quality having the date format dd.mm.yyyy. so it's not working in the qulity.

How to solve it.is there any function module to solve this problem

depends upon the current logged on users settings.

Here the solutions differs depending on the Date that you are using in the development . Most of time if you have used sy-datum WilL NOT CREATE PROBLEM if hard coded or manually used then it can cause issue like this . Any way you can use SET DATE MASk , or EDIT mask

Hi,

You need to change user profile for this. Go to SU01 transaction change the date format in Quality.

If you store dates in SAP standard data type (SYDATUM)then there should not any problem SAP automatically handles the formatting acording to user settings.

Hi ,

Refer sample code :

DATA: var TYPE char10 VALUE '20061010'.

DATA: date1 TYPE sy-datum.

write: var to date1.

write: <b>date1.</b>

Date1 will always have the Date format as per user setting.
