Usually the lock is applied using the key of the database table. This insures that only one user can change a specific record in a database table at one time. You create the lock object in SE11, once defined, there will be two function modules created, an ENQUEUE function module and a DEQUEUE function module. The naming convention is ENQUEUE_E&amp;lt;name of lock object&amp;gt;, DEQUEUE is the same, but replace ENQUEUE with DEQUEUE.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;santosh&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;create a lock object in SE11 with name starts with 'E' eg: ez_lock.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then give table name and lock mode(exclusive,etc..)..then save and activate..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the 'GOTO' menu, u can find both Enque and Deque module names...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the program(SE38), call this function module using pattern to lock /ulock the table records..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
