The term has two meanings. On the one hand, it stands for the entire ABAP runtime environment.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Abap objects &amp;amp; OOPS are same&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These are concepts of OOPS.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;   inhertance, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;   ploymorphism,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;   encapsultion.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sunil&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
