Z tables are nothing but the tables created by a technical consultant. they are used for customisation

these tables start with Z or Y

search for Z* in SE11

Hi,

"ZTABLES" is a term used to describe any custom tables created by customers in an SAP system. These tables are in the customer namespace (by default they start with Y or Z) and are guaranteed not to be affected by standard SAP code, eg during upgrades.

Hi,

Developments not made by SAP but yourself start with a 'Z' or an 'Y'. A ZTABLE therefore is a table developed by yourself. The use and meaning is dependant on the integration with standard SAP.

ZTABLES are the tables developed by ABAP developer for customizing .. these tables can start by Z or Y letter.

SAP provides some DB tables.

other than SAP provide tables, on client requirement you can also create tables which are called Ztables.

Hi,

Apart from standard tables,you can create your own tables.It should start with z or y.

You can do so in SE11 transaction.

ztables are user defined table ..you can create your own tables as per requairments .. start with z or y
