Move function group to production

I have one query.

I created one function module in developement server.

I moved it to Testing server.

I created function module and use that function module in smartform.

That smartform is working fine in development server and testing server.

When i move that function module to production.

that smartform is giving dump as "functiongroup" is not exist.

then i move the function group(ZCONV) to production.

after checking in production server its again giving dump as "SAPLZCONV is contain errors".

check ur Transport Request.

Final transport request should contain all the data declarations .I think u are not transported the Requests in the desired order.

i put properly uner one request automatically it genarated SAPLZCONV also in same request number

Hai,

You just check whether the function group is in the transport request.You can check it in SE01 or SE09 by selecting teh corresponding request number.

Hi Simha,

Next time when u do this sort of developments ..

Please make sure that all the programs related fms and groups fall under one development is in a single Transpost Request.

the probelm u r facing is the lapse of release strategy of the Transport Requests.

pleae check what is request consistency on the Function group ZCONV.

2. Do a syntax check on the TR before release ..this u can do in se01 in the menu bar ..u can check this.

3.just open the dump from ST22 and check what is missing in the Production that is going for a Dump .

and release the Transport group of ZCONV from development to production once again.
