Email field linking problem

Im using Tcode VA42 to update email address(SZA1_D0100-SMTP_addr) of the SHIP TO party. im able to find the updated email address in the table ADR6-SMTP_ADDR.

i dont know how to fetch this email address in my script cos im not sure of the logic to fetch the data.

I tried this....

From KNA1 i gave the KUNNR(SHIP TO) and found the ADRNR. but this ADRNR does not match with the data in ADR6.How to link KNA1(kunnr) with ADR6.

and when you use the function ADDR_COMM_GET for retrieving the email adress ?

does it still remains blanc ?

and the adrnr in addr6 is also possible from the orders you create for that customer .

perhaps the contract has a different adresnumber. I don;t work with contracts so I don;t know the table but when I enter an email adress in serviceorders for a customer I can retrieve it with the adresnumber stored in the serviceorder and not the adresnumber from the customer
