i have done recording for mm01

everything is going clearly but according to the requirements i want to add some date for FORECASTING tab which find in mm01. i have not captured that tab earlier. and know i should add that tab screen to the previous recording how can i do that

please send me the details of adding tab screens to the already generated recording

Hi Vamshi

Do a fresh recording for MM01 and enter the details in forecasting tab and save it .

And if you want to modify the existing recording - get the recording details of fresh recording (done above) and compare with the existing one(old) and add the relevant field names and screen numbers.

ok, but how can we add the new screen number to the existing code. its possible to add a new screen field .

are u sure that we can add a new screen to the existing recording, if so dont mind can u send me how it can be done

Hi vamsi,

Go to shdb transaction .

Create a new recording for MM01 transaction (with whatever field you want to enter). and Generate a new program from the SHDB transaction itself.

or, go to the BDC program that is being used now in the LSMW, and add the relevant code (Copy from the newly generated program).

You need to a fresh recording for MM01 and get the new code ( with all new tab) .

Now you compare the old code with new code.

There would be some extra screen number and fields , you have to look carefully to find that. now you Copy and paste the extra code from new code into your old program.

its ok, but how can u add a code the generated bdc code in the lsmw. we can add a scree-field. i had done that but how can we add a screen to that generated bdc code in lsmw

ok do one thing generate one recording in lsmw for tcode mm01 and then add the new screen for that recording if u got the solutions please help me in this aspect

dont mind for asking u to generate the coding
