Multiple Table Updates using BOPF

Hi Experts,

There are 2 Custom Tables - Header and Item.

For each entry in Header, we may have 0..* corresponding records in Item table.

We have created CDS View for each table and we have created association between them. We have created BOPF from these CDS views using CDS annotations. The CDS View has been published as OData service using CDS annotations.

We have a requirement to update a Header table field (say, ItemCount) whenever we create a corresponding new Item entry using OData Service.

How can this be achieved with CDS View/BOPF?

You can create a BOPF Determination on the header node which is triggered when an item is created.
