search help

Hi,

I have a search help for field say id with one of the field as werks in search help(that means the user can search id based on plant)

and other fields like date etc.

I have 10 plants at my client place. I am working on only two plants.

So is there a way when i search it has to show me only two plants.

Another thing is that the user have authorization to accees one of these plants.

say he has the authorization to plant abc so when he go search for id ,is there a way that the plant field

is defaulty filled by abc.

so when he goes for search he see abc in plant field and he can give the date and get the list of id's for plant abc and the date which he enters.

hi suchitra ...what do u mean by id here? is it personal number?user id? what exactly is ur requirement can u be more eloborate? and when u r reffering to search help do u mean f1/f4?
