      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;first i'm only a bold abap-programmer and i have to design an online interface within an SAP-application getting information from 'outer space' by using 'webmethods'. Can someone help me, showing me some examples developed before?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanx in advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Michael&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;since R/3 4.7 you can call all remot-function-modules (i.e. all BAPIs) with SOAP as a webservice. the SOAP-mechanism should be supported by all modern programming languages. you can also call webservice on external servers from abap.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you must activate ICM in transaction SMICM and the webservices in transaction SICF. you can find some documentation and sample-code in the SAP Library&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/ac/8f813a34872769e10000000a114084/frameset.htm"&amp;gt;WAS Administration&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/94/f8c8a2e68811d6b2dc00508b5d5211/frameset.htm"&amp;gt;SOAP Runtime&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Torsten&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
