How Many times the report has run

Dear All,

I am trying to find out if there is any standard report which shows me as to how many times the Z or Y repor has been used.

This is really needed for me decide.

For all reports and transactions execution info is stored in table MONI.

Read the System log using the Transaction SM21. may be you can find some info here

U can use trx STAT, here the system stores the statistic only for a certain period (lst week, last month,...).

You can try with transaction <b>STATTRACE</b> , if you are on higer versions.

Hi All,

Thanx for the replies but unfortunately my Doubt is still there.I think

"STATTRACE" Doesn't work we are in 4.6C.And i was not able to understand the Table MONI.

Please help

Hi,

I think STAD gives only the details of that day but i am looking at alonger period.

Like i enter the start and enddate and i need some statistics like when the report was last run. Some thing like this....

I believe you can't find it because the system keeps the statistics for only a certain period, your basis has decided how long it can be this period.

For example the system I'm using is customized to keep only the statistics of the last week, so all data are older than 7 days are deleted.

If you need to analyze a longer period you should repeat this analysis for several times in different days.

we created a solution that reads the information from STAT and stores it in a custom table for later retreival. we can then more closely monitor the amount of statistics kept without basis involvement. the function module to read the STAT information is:

            read_start_date             = pstart

            wrong_parameter_combination = 1
            others                      = 2.

it takes some time to develop history, but we can now go back over a year to look at run time and execution trends by program, both ours and SAPs.
